2026-07-28 — Pricing & plans reworked: Free + Fair · ToS v1.1–v1.4, DPA v1.1–v1.2
- Two plans: Free — the first 100 recommendations of every billing cycle are sent free, then sending pauses; on the Free plan you can never be charged. Fair — 6% of the gross merchandise value of demonstrably delivered extra orders.
- Billing can only ever begin after you yourself switch to Fair on Shopify’s plan page; anything sent on the Free plan is never billed — even after switching.
- Rate lowered from 9% to 6% — contractually, the rate can only ever decrease, never increase.
- Cycle-end snapshot: orders cancelled or fully refunded by then are never billed. The spending cap and monthly limit were removed in favor of these structural guarantees.
- DPA: error monitoring runs on our own infrastructure — no additional sub-processor (v1.1); Annex 1 restructured for the two plans (v1.2).
- ToS versions v1.1–v1.3 document these steps individually; v1.4 re-issues v1.3 unchanged. Every version stays permanently available under
/terms/vX.Y/ and as PDF.
