A few friends asked me for a short text they can forward. Here are five — each one can be sent exactly as it is. Your message gets even stronger with one sentence of your own: how you know Pascal, or why you like the app. It should sound like you, not like marketing.
The classic
For WhatsApp & co.Hi, maybe this is something for you: Pascal, a friend of mine, built an app for Shopify stores (officially in the Shopify App Store). After a purchase, existing customers with marketing consent automatically receive a fitting product recommendation by email. It fits best for small to mid-size shops without their own CRM team. The app is at the very beginning: closed beta, German market first, you'd be one of the first. In return, Pascal currently looks after every shop personally, and honest feedback during setup matters more to him than fast growth. Start free; you only pay if you yourself switch to the paid plan, and then only for verifiably delivered extra orders. I get nothing for this, Pascal is simply a friend. The app is called extra carts; if you like, I'll make the intro.
The short one
When it needs to be quickHi! Quick tip: Pascal, a friend of mine, built a Shopify app that automatically emails fitting recommendations to existing customers after a purchase, only with marketing consent. Still a closed beta, German market first; he currently looks after every shop personally. Free to try, you only pay if you voluntarily switch to the paid plan. If you like, I'll make the intro.
For groups
For a chat with several people, without addressing anyone directlyHi everyone! Maybe this is interesting for one or two of you: Pascal, a friend of mine, built an app for Shopify stores that automatically emails existing customers fitting product recommendations after a purchase, only with marketing consent. Still a closed beta, German market first, and he currently looks after every shop personally. Free to try, you only pay if you voluntarily switch to the paid plan. The app is called extra carts. If you want to know more, just message me.
For the careful
When your contact checks twice before installing anythingHi, you run a Shopify store, right? Pascal, a friend of mine, built an app that emails product recommendations to existing customers after a purchase, and it's built very carefully: only to customers with marketing consent, nothing goes out without the merchant's approval, and you can stop anytime. It's officially in the Shopify App Store but still in closed beta, German market first. Few shops, and Pascal looks after each one personally and wants honest feedback above all. Start free; you only pay after voluntarily switching to the paid plan, and then only for delivered extra orders. I get nothing for this recommendation, I just like how he builds it. If that sounds interesting, I'm happy to connect you.
The detailed one
For a calm email instead of a messenger pingHi,
your shop just came to mind, hence this mail. Pascal, a friend of mine, built an app for Shopify merchants: extra carts. Recently approved for the Shopify App Store, still in closed beta, German market first.
The app looks at what is often bought together in a shop and automatically sends existing customers a fitting recommendation by email after a purchase. Only to customers with marketing consent, and you approve the first batch yourself before anything goes out.
It's made for small to mid-size shops without their own CRM team, from a few hundred orders in the last two months. Below that the analysis finds too few patterns.
Honestly: there is no large user base yet, you'd be one of the first. That's exactly why the moment is good: Pascal looks after every shop personally, is there during setup (on request also via video call), and above all wants to know what's missing. He says openly that he isn't building the app for himself but for the merchants using it. Your feedback shapes it.
I find the pricing fairly solved: you start free, permanently, with 100 recommendations per billing cycle. You only ever pay if you actively switch to the paid plan, then 6% of verifiably delivered extra orders. No subscription, no fine print.
And to be clear: I get nothing for this recommendation. Pascal is a friend, and I like what he builds.
If that sounds interesting, I'm happy to make the intro. If not, just ignore this mail.
